Revolutionary Mass Strike or a New Bureaucratic Containment?

A focus on the exhaustion of China’s former model of accumulation and China’s place in the world crisis. We will explore how it is both  necessary and impossible for the state bureaucracy (i.e. the Chinese Communist Party) to make the transition to a new (“consumer-oriented”) accumulation model without unleashing mass working-class and peasant discontent.
